KDDI introduces three new Android smartphones in Japan


Just a day ago Japanese telecom operator NTT Docomorained Android devices in the country, now another telecom operator KDDI has entered the Android action. KDDI today announced three new Android devices.


 

All the three Android devices will be available in the market in coming months.


 



 

Casio G'zOne IS11CA: Recently launched as G'zOne Commando in US, this rugged Android smartphone from Casio sports Android 2.3, 3.6 inch IPS (800×480) display, IPX5/8 shockproof and dustproof body.


 

Other specs include 1GHz MSM8655 processor, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, and an 8MP camera.


 



 

Infobar A01: First Android device in KDDI's Infobar series, it comes with 1GHz SnapdragonMSM8655 processor , 3.9 inch display with 960×540 resolution, a 8MP Camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC eWallet and a microSDHC Card slot.


 



 

REGZA Phone IS11T: This Toshiba smartphone comes with a QWERTY slider, 1GHz SnapdragonMSN8655 processor, Android 2.3, a 1Seg TV Tuner, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, DLNA, 8MP Camera and a 4 inch (854×480) display.

Verizon Xperia Play launch on May 26, preorders start May 19


Verizon
 today confirmed that Sony Ericsson Xperia Play will go on sale starting May 26. Interested buyers can preorder from May 19.


 

Telecom operator is selling the device for USD 199.99 with a two year contract. Verizon's version of Xperia Play will come pre-loaded with seven game titles, including Madden NFL 11 (EA Sports), Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior (Digital Legends), Asphalt 6: Adrenaline (Gameloft), The Sims 3 (EA), Star Battalion (Gameloft), Crash Bandicoot (Sony PlayStation) and Tetris.
